 Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) stressed on Sunday that it would exert all possible effort and offer all needed services and training courses to promote the efficiency of KRCS volunteers.
Head of Youth and Volunteers Department in KRCS Musaad Al-Enizi was speaking upon the launch of the 25th volunteer rehabilitation program which would last for one week. He said this course will touch on the role of KRSC, volunteers' skills, and international codes of ethics and conduct for humanitarian work.
It would also include seminars on humanitarian international law, and the legal obligations of volunteers. The course would also include orientation regarding issues of disability and means to deal with people with special needs in society.
The official stressed that the volunteers' work plays an important role in nurturing the potential of youth and building their confidence, which benefits their society
