KUWAIT, Nov 10 (KUNA) - Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) on Sunday launched its annual winter clothing campaign by distributing 236 winter coupons, blankets and heaters to 236 needy families in Kuwait.
The head of the local aid department in the association Mariam Al-Adasani said in a press statement on the sidelines of the distribution of aid that "winter clothing" is distributed to needy families in Kuwait accredited to the society in order to relieve them and help them.
She added that the association distributed coupons to buy clothes (winter clothing) in cooperation with one of the commercial markets, stressing the importance of supporting families in need to face the burdens and responsibilities of life and alleviate them.
She stressed the Association's keenness to support activities and programs that contribute to the service of society and help needy families, urging the principle of giving and cooperation, constructive cooperation and activating the value of community partnership as a principle and national strategy.
She explained that the association attaches great importance in providing support and support to families in need, pointing out that the association targets them in all occasions of religious and national holidays and winter and the holy month of Ramadan with various assistance.
Al-Adsani called on the beneficiaries to donate to the project through the various donation channels provided by the association to facilitate the supporters either through the visit of the association or through the website of the association.
She praised all private and private donors and their renewed confidence in the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society every year, stressing the importance of this campaign and its positive impact on the needy souls as winter enters.
