The Kuwaiti Red Crescent praises the concerted efforts to receive the returnees

Today, the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society praised the concerted efforts of the Governmental agencies to welcoming the Kuwaiti citizens who returned from abroad, and provide them of all means of care from the very moment of arrival.

The director of the Youth and Volunteers Department, Dr. Musaed Al-Anzi, affirmed KRCS's support for the efforts made by Official institutions to fight Coronavirus.

Al-Enezi pointed out that KRCS's 50 volunteers deployed at the airport to serve the returning citizens, indicating delivery services to as much as 212 citizens.

He stated that one of the tasks KRCS undertook was to transfer swabs to labs and provide wheelchairs to the elderly and people of special needs. He stressed the keenness of volunteers to receive the returnees throughout the day and urge them to follow health and awareness instructions with the requirements of home quarantine for their own safety.

He praised the "Heroic" efforts of the volunteers, who have not wavered for the past two months of continuous work to confront the virus, saying that they "stood firmly in the face of the dangers, made their best efforts day and night, in dedication".

Al-Enezi pointed out the importance of sensing responsibility and adherence to instructions and directives that ensure the preservation of public health and prevent outbreak of infection through adherence to curfews and following health instructions.
