Kuwait Red Crescent Society delivers 150 food baskets families in need

Today, the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society delivered 150 food baskets containing various basic elements as part of a plan to relieve five thousand families.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer, confirmed the continuation of the aid delivery in the days to come, indicating that each food ration distributed today included chicken cartons and a set of necessary needs such as rice, sugar, flour, oil, food cans and dates.

He added that the delivery would continue on daily basis to fulfill the needs all the registered families, explaining that KRCS is particularly interested in the widows, orphans and families in need. He gave as importance to aid delivery to people living inside Kuwait as abroad.

He pointed out that KRCS has recently delivered thousands of food baskets in the Hawalli and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh in cooperation with the Civil Defense Service.

He explained that the association pays more attention to the blocked areas, so it delivered food to inhabitants in need in this area, in cooperation with the concerned authorities.

Al-Sayer thanked companies, institutions and philanthropists who took the initiative to donate to the families in need through KRCS. He stressed the importance of continuing in this path for the local aid program to succeed.
