Today, the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society began delivery of prayer rugs, masks, gloves, and sterilizers to staff members and clients in various public institutions, with the start of returning to office according to the second phase of the government's progressive plan as a precautionary measure to confront Coronavirus outbreak.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer, said that this move comes in the context of the efforts and endeavors made by various State agencies and institutions to curb the outbreak of the virus. He indicated that they delivered the health stuff to the Complex of Ministries, the Public Prosecution and the Civil Service Commission.
Al-Sayer added that KRCS seeks to play a constructive role to enhance the safety of staff members and clients. He stressed the importance of prevention and adherence to health guidelines and taking serious precautionary measures, especially the physical distance and wearing masks and gloves.
Dr. Al Sayer expressed thanks to the volunteering teams that have played an important role since the beginning of the crisis, indicating that the process of delivery of these precautionary tools to different public sector institutions, will continue during the coming period.
