Kuwaiti Red Crescent contributes to taking precautionary measures from Coronavirus in Al Farwaniyah Educational Zone

Today, the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society contributed to taking precautionary measures against the emerging coronavirus (Covid 19) in Al Farwaniyah Educational Zone by distributing prayer rugs, masks, sterilizers and brochures to the region's employees and patients.

The director of the youth and volunteers department at the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society, Dr. Musaed Al-Enezi, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that this initiative is a continuation of the Society's continuous efforts to support the various state agencies in implementing the expanded preventive campaign to confront this Virus and ensure the achievement of complete prevention.

Dr. Al-Enezi praised the steps taken by the Al-Farwaniyah Educational Zone of precautionary measures, including measuring the temperature of employees, patients, and social distance, in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society.

He added that the distribution program of masks, gloves and brochures that started since the beginning of the crisis left a good impression for the beneficiaries who expressed gratitude and appreciation for the humanitarian efforts of the Red Cross.

He valued the volunteers' efforts of the Society and their great role in distributing preventive health supplies, food baskets and daily meals since the beginning of the Coronavirus crisis, stressing that the Society is keen to do more to attract volunteers to contribute in protecting the society from the virus and its consequences on health.

Dr. Al-Enezi commended the great efforts of the political leadership aiming at curbing the Coronavirus outbreak, in addition to taking care of the safety of citizens and residents.
