The Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society announced today, that it distributed a number of necessary household electrical appliances on 66 needy families in Kuwait.
The Director of the Local Aid Department at the Society, Maryam Al-Adsani, said that these devices included refrigerators and air conditions were distributed to the most families in need, in order to enhance the principle of social solidarity and community partnership.
Al-Adsani added that the aim of giving these devices is to help the families in need, and ensure them a better way of life. She stressed that the KRCS deems this support has great importance, because it is one more fruit of cooperation with its partners in charitable sector and part of humanitarian projects and programs aiming to help families in need.
She pointed to the projects implemented by the Society to improve the standard of living for the people in need by distributing food baskets and orphan coupons. She unveiled plans of the Society to distribute during the coming days, the clothes of Eid Al-Adha to the families in need.
She emphasized the keenness of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society to extend bridges of humanitarian and charitable cooperation and partnership between with the philanthropists who support its humanitarian efforts.
Al-Adsani expressed great thanks to all companies and institutions that support its humanitarian work, as well as donors of citizens and residents who took the initiative to cooperate with KRCS in helping families in need. She said it is important for such good people to keep giving to ensure success of the local aid program.
