The Kuwait Red Crescent Society confirmed on Saturday its full readiness to support the state's efforts in enhancing preparedness to deal with any emergency, in light of the current regional developments. This comes from the Society's sense of national responsibility and its humanitarian role within the comprehensive response system of the State of Kuwait.
The Society held an emergency meeting of the Operations and Emergency Committee this afternoon, chaired by Secretary-General Fahad Al-Mandeel, to review the approved emergency plans, evaluate precautionary measures, and raise the readiness levels of working cadres — both volunteers and staff — to ensure rapid response and operational efficiency when needed.
The meeting also addressed updates to operational mechanisms and field mobilization plans in line with the requirements of state agencies, as well as the strengthening of the internal communication and coordination system among cadres to ensure smooth workflow and timely decision-making.
The Society indicated that it has commenced a review of logistical equipment and the verification of the availability of essential supplies, in order to ensure swift field support whenever the need arises.
