Program Objectives
At the end of the program the volunteer will be able to:
- Understand his or her role as first aider.
- Assess the casualty condition.
- Recognize fainting, chocking & drowning conditions & provide first aid
- Recognize and p the location of arteries of radial and carotid arteries for checking the pulse. Counting the respiration & pulse -and practice it.
- Opening the airways
- Understanding the symptoms of heart arrest & resuscitation of the casualty.
- Recognizing shock - heat attacks - burns and managing them.
- Types and Management of Bleeding
- Poisoning and managing it - Animals bites and managing it.
- Types and Management of Fractures
