Today, Saturday, KRCS distributed food and health supplies to families affected by the Beirut Port explosion.
The head of Lebanon delegation, Dr. Musaed Al-Anzi, said that KRCS was in the field with all its capabilities to provide medical, health and nutritional aid to all Lebanese people in these difficult times.
He pointed out that the KRCS’s field delegation visited a number of the areas and hospitals hit by the explosion to explore the medical and health needs, noting that it had distributed relief and health supplies to many victims of the explosion, in cooperation with the Lebanese Red Cross and coordination with the Kuwaiti embassy in Lebanon.
Al-Enezi stressed KRCS's permanent readiness to provide all kinds of assistance to hospitals that were in urgent need of support. He confirmed that it would continue its relief efforts in the days to come.
KRCS had transported tons of various medical and food aid through airlift that Kuwait had set up to help Lebanon.
