A relief aircraft arrived yesterday at Port Sudan International Airport loaded with ten tons of relief and shelter materials to support the most needy groups in Sudan. This flight comes as a continuation of the "Kuwait Stands with You" campaign and is organized by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society in cooperation between the Ministries of Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Defense, represented by the Kuwait Air Force.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Khaled Al-Mughames, said that Kuwait, with supreme directives, continues its humanitarian efforts to support the Sudanese people in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions they are experiencing, based on its firm positions in supporting humanitarian causes and promoting Arab solidarity.

Al-Mughames stated that these efforts also come within the visions aimed at alleviating the suffering of the people and contributing to meeting their basic needs, embodying Kuwait's humanitarian commitment towards peoples affected by crises. He noted that this aircraft comes as a continuation of the plane that took off last Monday with a total cargo of 40 tons of relief and shelter materials, clothing, and means of transportation as part of an integrated relief campaign aimed at supporting the Sudanese people during this critical phase.

Al-Mughames emphasized: "We aim to alleviate the suffering of Sudanese people and contribute to meeting their basic needs," highlighting the relief materials and various supplies on board the aircraft.
