A Kuwaiti military transport aircraft loaded with 10 tons of food aid for Gaza landed at Al-Arish International Airport in Egypt. This is the first aircraft in the new Kuwaiti relief bridge to the Strip as part of the Kuwait Stands with You campaign.
Kuwait's Ambassador to Egypt, Ghanem Al-Ghanem, expressed his utmost gratitude to His Highness the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad and his trustworthy Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled for their supreme directives to quickly respond to the needs of the people in the Gaza Strip.
Al-Ghanem also expressed his gratitude to the Kuwaiti people for their constant support for their Palestinian brothers, especially in light of the difficult circumstances they are currently going through.
He explained that the first flights of the airlift that landed at Al-Arish Airport carry 10 tons of food supplies, in coordination between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Social Affairs, and the Kuwait Red Crescent, as well as in coordination and cooperation with the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent Societies.
For his part, the Director General of the Red Crescent, Fawaz Al-Mazroui, who accompanied the relief flight, confirmed that the Kuwaiti airlift continues to provide various humanitarian and relief assistance according to the needs of the brotherly Palestinian people.
