The fourth relief aircraft within the second Kuwaiti airlift took off from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base heading to Al-Arish International Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, loaded with 40 tons of basic food supplies directed urgently to the people in the Gaza Strip.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent, Khaled Al-Mughames, said that this aircraft is loaded with large quantities of relief aid in preparation for entry into the Gaza Strip through Egyptian crossings in coordination with the Kuwait Embassy in Cairo and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
Al-Mughames added that this flight is an extension of Kuwait's continuous efforts in extending a helping hand to peoples experiencing disasters and crises without hesitation, noting that the preparation of shipments was done in cooperation with Kuwaiti charitable societies and foundations.
He thanked all official bodies in Kuwait, especially the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Social Affairs, charitable societies, and the Kuwait Flour Mills Company for their great cooperation in facilitating aid delivery operations.
