The Kuwait Red Crescent Society signed a cooperation agreement yesterday with the American Institute of Safety and Health with the aim of official accreditation for first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and general safety courses.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Khaled Al-Mughames, said in a statement to KUNA that the agreement comes within the Society's vision to develop its training programs, expand the scope of international partnerships, and consolidate its humanitarian role in the field of emergency response.
He added that the agreement stipulates the provision of various general and specialized medical courses to save lives and improve skills for healthcare providers, medical personnel, volunteers, and members of the community interested in this field who need such courses, through the accredited training center affiliated with the Society.
Al-Mughames pointed out that through the agreement, certificates for training courses to be held through the training center affiliated with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society in the fields of first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and general safety will be accredited.
He explained that the American Institute will undertake to provide all required documents related to various medical courses, including accreditation of certificates for trainees and training materials content.
Al-Mughames mentioned that the agreement will contribute to enhancing joint cooperation in the field of training and educational content.
