The Kuwait Red Crescent Society signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kuwait Journalists Association, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, colleague Adnan Khalifa Al-Rashid, with the aim of enhancing bilateral cooperation and strengthening existing relations between the two parties.

The Chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Ambassador Khaled Al-Mughames, said in a press statement that the purpose of the memorandum is to enhance and establish a framework for cooperation between the two parties to exchange and develop joint humanitarian activities, along with cooperation in humanitarian projects and conducting training courses as well as their work plans, which will be jointly developed between the two parties.

He mentioned that the two parties seek to work together in maintaining a continuous working relationship to achieve common goals during the coming period, emphasizing the Society's commitment to building strong and effective partnerships with institutions and public benefit associations.

He indicated that the two parties seek through this memorandum to maintain a continuous and effective cooperation relationship based on exchanging information and expertise, and coordinating efforts to achieve common goals.

For his part, colleague Adnan Khalifa Al-Rashid said that the Kuwait Journalists Association was keen to open channels of cooperation and communication with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, which is one of the most prominent humanitarian and relief associations leading at the global level.

He added that the Kuwait Red Crescent has proven throughout its long history that it is one of the active and important entities inside and outside Kuwait, thanks to its distinguished humanitarian work that embodies the values of giving deeply rooted in Kuwaiti society.

Al-Rashid pointed out that the Red Crescent has deservedly become a humanitarian ambassador for Kuwait on the international stage, due to its clear charitable imprints in various parts of the world.

He confirmed that signing the memorandum of understanding represents a strategic step towards enhancing joint cooperation, praising the great support provided by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society in facilitating this mission.
