The Kuwait Red Crescent Society confirmed that it pays great attention to spreading the culture of first aid among community members, given the vital importance of this field in saving lives. This came in a statement by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Society, Ambassador Khaled Al-Mughames, on the sidelines of the Society’s launch of its first aid awareness campaign at The Avenues Mall on Saturday, coinciding with World First Aid Day, which falls on the second Saturday of September. He noted that the campaign aims to develop humanitarian skills that

represent the first line of defense in saving injured persons until specialized medical teams arrive.
