The 13th relief aircraft of the second Kuwaiti airlift arrived at Al-Arish Airport in Egypt, carrying 40 tons of food aid, in preparation for its delivery to the Gaza Strip as part of the humanitarian campaign "Kuwait Stands with You" to relieve the Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip. These relief flights, departing from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base, come within the framework of the "Rush to Gaza" campaign, organized by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, in cooperation with Kuwaiti charitable entities, and in coordination with the Ministries of Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Defense represented by the Kuwaiti Air Force. The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Khaled Al-Maghames, affirmed before the aircraft's departure that the State of Kuwait "renews through the second airlift its firm humanitarian stance towards the brothers in the Gaza Strip." In this context, the Director General of the Red Crescent, Fawaz Al-Mazroui, confirmed that the Society and its Egyptian counterpart discussed during a coordination meeting in Cairo efforts to deliver urgent humanitarian aid to the Palestinian brothers in the Strip. He explained that the necessary procedures were discussed to ensure the delivery of this aid with the utmost speed and efficiency possible, and to overcome the obstacles facing relief operations on the ground.
