The 16th relief aircraft from the second Kuwaiti airlift took off as part of the humanitarian campaign "Kuwait Stands with You" to relieve the Palestinian brothers in Gaza, heading to Al-Arish Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt, loaded with ten tons of food aid in preparation for its delivery to the Strip. The relief aircraft departing from Abdullah Al-Mubarak Air Base come within the framework of the "Rush to Gaza" campaign organized by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society in cooperation with Kuwaiti charitable entities in coordination with the Ministries of Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Defense represented by the Kuwaiti Air Force. The Chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Khaled Al-Maghames, said that the State of Kuwait continues its humanitarian and charitable efforts towards the Gaza Strip based on its firm approach to supporting humanitarian and relief causes around the world and in compliance with the directives of the wise leadership, which emphasizes the necessity of standing by the Palestinian people under the difficult circumstances they are going through. Al-Maghames added that the "Red Crescent", in cooperation with official authorities and the Kuwaiti charitable sector, is intensifying efforts to deliver urgent relief aid of basic food supplies through the second airlift organized by the Society, stressing that this continued support embodies the depth of the brotherly bonds that unite the Kuwaiti and Palestinian peoples. He explained that the Society is working in coordination with Kuwaiti charitable societies and associations to secure the delivery of aid to its beneficiaries in coordination with
the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Cairo and the Egyptian Red Crescent Society, indicating that it formed a team to inspect Kuwaiti aid in the field and follow up on the latest developments in preparation for its entry to the people in the Gaza Strip. It is noteworthy that the Kuwait Red Crescent Society yesterday undertook the preparation of humanitarian aid provided by the Khairat Relief and Development Society with the aim of meeting the basic food needs of the Strip, in addition to its work on preparing previous aircraft distributed between four aircraft to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and 12 aircraft to the Arab Republic of Egypt until yesterday.
