The Red Crescent Society launched the work of the "First Gulf Red Crescent Conference on Artificial Intelligence", which it organizes in cooperation with the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, under the slogan "Towards New Horizons in Humanitarian Work and Development Media - Investing the Power of Artificial Intelligence", during the period from 22 to 23 of this month at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Centre. The conference work was launched with a speech delivered by the Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aziz Al-Daihani, in which he praised the objectives of the conference that brings together humanitarian work and artificial intelligence, in a step that embodies Kuwait's leadership in supporting humanitarian values and enhancing joint Gulf cooperation. He said, "The convening of such a conference at this important stage in the development of humanitarian work reflects our deep awareness of the accelerating challenges facing our societies, and highlights the importance of employing modern technologies, foremost of which is artificial intelligence, as an effective tool to enhance the capabilities of humanitarian institutions, convey facts objectively, and provide rapid response to the beneficiaries of our humanitarian services, in line with global developments and achieving the desired impact." He pointed out that this conference represents a unique opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss best practices, and develop initiatives that elevate humanitarian work and development media in Kuwait regionally and globally. He added, "This supreme support is a source of pride and honor and constitutes a motivation for us at the Kuwait Red Crescent Society to continue performing our humanitarian mission with full commitment and responsibility," stressing that the Red Crescent Society will continue its humanitarian march under the slogan "Giving and Generosity", this slogan that embodies the essence of our message and our firm approach in serving humanity without discrimination, and we are proud that this slogan is a beacon for everything we do.
