The Red Crescent Society received yesterday a delegation from the Jerusalem Empowerment Fund, including the Vice Chairman of the Fund's Board of Trustees Munib al-Masri, Al-Quds University President Imad Abu Kishk, and Fund Director Taher al-Deisi.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Crescent Society, Khaled Al-Mughames, told KUNA following his reception of the delegation that the Society provided 400 tons of food aid to the Palestinian people as part of the "Faz'ah for Gaza" campaign.

Al-Mughames added that the relief flights, which numbered 19 aircraft, came as part of the Kuwaiti airlift to the Gaza Strip, embodying the well-established humanitarian approach of the State of Kuwait, leadership, government, and people, in supporting the Palestinian people and alleviating their suffering
