The Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies signed a memorandum of understanding today with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation, exchanging expertise, and developing human resources through preparing and implementing specialized training programs that serve both parties.
The Director of the Institute, First Attorney General Counselor Bader Al-Musaed, said to KUNA following the signing that the memorandum of understanding constitutes an organized institutional framework for joint cooperation between the two parties, and aims to unify efforts in areas of mutual interest in a manner that serves common national and humanitarian goals.
Al-Musaed confirmed that the memorandum focuses on supporting the fields of training, legal qualification, and spreading legal awareness in society, in addition to exchanging scientific and research expertise in a way that contributes to raising the efficiency of working cadres and enhancing specialized legal knowledge.
He explained that the memorandum of understanding includes organizing joint training programs, courses, and workshops that are prepared according to scientific and professional foundations that take into account the needs of both parties and contribute to developing institutional performance and achieving sustainable impact.
He mentioned that this cooperation enhances the humanitarian message undertaken by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society by supporting it with the legal and knowledge dimension and keeping pace with the academic and training role of the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies.
He indicated that signing the memorandum reflects both parties' commitment to building effective institutional partnerships based on integration between humanitarian work and specialized legal qualification in a manner that contributes to serving society and consolidating best professional practices.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Khaled Al-Mughames, said in a similar statement that the memorandum of understanding aims to achieve common goals in spreading legal and humanitarian awareness and enhancing the fields of training and scientific research, in addition to exchanging experiences and expertise in a way that contributes to supporting distinguished relations and strengthening institutional ties between the two parties.
Al-Mughames added that signing the memorandum comes from the Society's commitment to building effective partnerships with specialized national institutions, noting that combining the humanitarian dimension with legal knowledge represents a fundamental pillar for developing institutional work and raising the efficiency of cadres working in the humanitarian field
