Officials in Kuwait's charitable sector affirmed on Tuesday that they are mobilizing all their human and logistical capabilities to serve the country and support the efforts of state institutions amid the current regional developments, renewing their commitment to the supreme directives and the decisions and instructions issued by the competent authorities.
In separate statements to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), they emphasized that this commitment stems from their national responsibility and their role as an active partner within the community work system in the country. They confirmed that Kuwait's charitable institutions stand united behind the political leadership, placing their expertise and their administrative and volunteer cadres on full readiness to provide support when needed and in full coordination with official authorities.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Khaled Al-Mughamis, stated that the Society is placing all its human and logistical capabilities at the
service of the country, in support of official efforts and to strengthen the joint national work system in facing various challenges.
Al-Mughamis added that the Kuwait Red Crescent operates according to an integrated plan based on readiness, rapid response, and continuous coordination with the relevant state agencies.
He noted that the Society continues to raise the preparedness levels of its volunteers and staff, update its emergency plans, and enhance its field communication system to ensure swift mobilization and operational efficiency when needed.
He explained that humanitarian work in Kuwait represents an institutional model that reflects the directives of the wise leadership and embodies Kuwait's humanitarian approach. He highlighted the Red Crescent's commitment to leveraging its accumulated expertise and its field, medical, and relief capabilities to support community security and contribute to the protection of lives and property.
He stated that integration with official authorities represents a fundamental pillar in the success of any national response, and that the Society operates with a unified team spirit as part of the comprehensive state system.
For his part, the Director General of the International Islamic Charitable Organization, Engineer Badr Al-Sumait, confirmed that the Organization is mobilizing all its human and logistical capabilities to support the efforts of the country's official institutions amid the rapidly evolving regional developments, which require the highest levels of readiness and national solidarity.
Al-Sumait stated that the current phase necessitates strengthening the spirit of national responsibility, rallying behind the political leadership, and adhering to the directives issued by the competent authorities in order to preserve the country's security, stability, and societal safety. He reaffirmed the Organization's readiness — with all its administrative and volunteer cadres — to mobilize as required and in full coordination with the official authorities.
