The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, Khaled Al-Mughamis, affirmed the importance of strengthening national partnerships with various state institutions, in a manner that contributes to supporting humanitarian work, entrenching a culture of social responsibility, and serving the community.
Al-Mughamis made these remarks following his meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Police Officers' Club, Brigadier General Abdulmohsen Al-Akshan, and the accompanying delegation. He stated that the meeting was held within the framework of enhancing cooperation and coordination between the two sides, and exploring the prospects of partnership in implementing humanitarian and community initiatives that benefit eligible groups and support national efforts in the fields of humanitarian work.
He added that the Society holds in high regard the community role played by the Ministry of Interior and its various sectors, stressing that the complementarity of roles among institutions forms a fundamental pillar for advancing humanitarian work and broadening the scope of benefit from charitable and humanitarian initiatives.
He noted that a number of proposals aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of community initiatives were discussed, praising the Police Officers' Club's keenness to contribute to supporting humanitarian work and consolidating concepts of social responsibility.
For his part, Brigadier General Al-Akshan affirmed the commitment of the Ministry of Interior, across all its sectors including the Police Officers' Club, to supporting charitable and humanitarian work, stemming from its community role. He indicated that a number of initiatives and ideas were explored in preparation for their future implementation in cooperation with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society.
Al-Akshan affirmed that the Police Officers' Club places great importance on promoting a culture of social responsibility among the staff of the Ministry of Interior, expressing his aspiration to launch joint programs and activities with the Society in the fields of humanitarian work that serve various segments of society and reinforce the values of giving and human solidarity.
