As part of its humanitarian endeavors to support the most vulnerable groups, the Kuwait Red Crescent Society implemented a qualitative health project in Afghanistan aimed at providing care and treatment for children with congenital heart defects from low-income families.
This project embodies the Society's commitment to alleviating the suffering of young patients and enabling them to obtain their right to treatment and opportunities for a dignified life.
In collaboration with specialized medical centers and humanitarian partners, the Society successfully treated and rehabilitated 66 children suffering from this critical health condition, covering the full costs of surgical operations and necessary medical care.
This project continues to represent an impactful humanitarian footprint that restores hope to these children and their families, and affirms the pioneering role of the Kuwait Red Crescent in saving lives by giving patients an opportunity for a better life and a more hopeful future.
