In light of the difficult humanitarian conditions witnessed in the Gaza Strip as a result of the continuation of the Israeli aggression, the Kuwait Red Crescent Society has continued its efforts to support the Palestinian people and enhance health and relief services in the Strip.
Since the beginning of the crisis in October 2023, the Gaza Strip has witnessed catastrophic humanitarian conditions that are the worst in many years, as its residents live in harsh circumstances as a result of the suffocating siege and strict restrictions imposed on the entry of basic materials by the occupation forces.
Based on this humanitarian duty, the State of Kuwait launched two consecutive airlifts to provide relief to Gaza, represented by the first Kuwaiti airlift and the second airlift, in continuation of its ongoing relief efforts since the outbreak of the crisis and in support of the people of the Gaza Strip.
In August 2025, the State of Kuwait launched an urgent relief campaign to support the Gaza Strip under the slogan "Faz'ah for Gaza" (Relief for Gaza), in which many official bodies, associations, and charitable organizations participated. The Society prepared 19 relief flights carrying approximately 400 tons of food supplies that were sent to the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which were then delivered into the Strip.
On the health front, the field hospital affiliated with the Kuwait Red Crescent received a number of Palestinian wounded who were evacuated from Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital after it was subjected to intense bombardment that put it out of service. The medical teams undertook to provide urgent care to them and treat injuries to ensure the stabilization of the most critical cases.
The Society also contributed to providing five water transport trucks to affected areas for those facing difficult humanitarian conditions.
These efforts come as an extension of the humanitarian role of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society in supporting the Palestinian people in health and relief, despite the harsh field challenges, which consolidates its mission in supporting stricken communities and alleviating their suffering.
