In a step that reflects its commitment to supporting health infrastructure in communities in need, the Kuwait Red Crescent Society laid the foundation stone for an integrated health center project in the city of Basra in southern Iraq.
The project comes in cooperation and coordination with the Iraqi Red Crescent Society, to be an important contributor to medical services in the region.
The center will be built on a land area of one thousand square meters and will consist of two floors that include specialized laboratories, recovery and anesthesia rooms, in addition to radiology rooms, making it an integrated facility that meets the needs of patients and provides advanced healthcare to the residents of Basra and neighboring areas.
