Within the framework of its humanitarian support to Turkey and assistance to those affected by disasters and crises, the Society implemented a series of projects and services aimed at improving the living and health conditions of affected groups. The Society provided four amphibious boats and rescue boats to support relief operations and assist those affected by fires that struck some areas, in addition to providing five various vehicles and a field services vehicle to facilitate logistical support operations. The Society also provided 24 vehicles dedicated to blood transportation serving approximately 250 thousand individuals, which enhanced the health sector's capacity to respond to emergencies.
In the framework of supporting livelihoods, the Society provided special agricultural materials that benefited 729 individuals, contributing to re-empowering affected farmers and improving their economic conditions. The Society also established a central kitchen serving one thousand individuals daily to provide regular meals to affected groups, in addition to equipping five mobile kitchens to contribute to distributing meals in the most affected areas.
On the health front, the Society contributed to establishing seven blood donation centers that benefited approximately 70 thousand individuals, which enhanced meeting the urgent medical needs of hospitals and health centers.
These projects collectively constitute an integrated model of the Kuwait Red Crescent's response, which combined urgent relief support with sustainable development projects to serve affected communities in Turkey.
