In recent years, the Society has implemented a number of relief and development projects in Somalia, which suffered from a devastating humanitarian catastrophe due to waves of drought and desertification, and the resulting food insecurity and disruption of the living conditions of the population.
In the face of these circumstances, the Society, in cooperation with its partners, successfully implemented a project to distribute food baskets to affected families in displacement areas, with the aim of alleviating the severity of the crisis and enhancing food security for the most vulnerable groups.
The Society, in cooperation with its partners, is also committed to providing urgent relief to contribute to mitigating the effects of drought on the people of Somalia, by delivering necessary food supplies to reduce hunger and improve the conditions of families most in need.
In addition, the Society implemented well-drilling projects in previous periods with the aim of improving access to safe drinking water sources and supporting the stability of local communities in the most affected areas.
